Bruce is responsible for co-managing the IFM Specialised Credit Fund (SCF) and is also involved in credit analysis and product development within the Debt Investments Team. Prior to joining IFM Investors, Bruce was the portfolio manager in charge of credit investments at AllianceBernstein. Bruce has been involved in SCF since its inception in 1999 and during that time, controlled SCF’s asset allocation and the implementation of its investment policy as well as overseeing its investments. Prior to this, Bruce held various positions within National Mutual (later National Mutual Funds Management) where he was involved in a range of treasury and investment operations and direct portfolio management of client funds, focussing on short-end and structured assets. As a credit specialist, he was closely engaged in the evolving asset backed securities market (including RMBS), across the credit risk spectrum. Bruce also has considerable experience investing in hybrids as well as PPP assets, particularly for backing annuity liabilities. In his early career, Bruce was an academic at Monash University in the fields of economics, taxation and business finance.

David is responsible for driving the expansion of IFM’s infrastructure debt investment capabilities into the UK and Europe. He is also charged with sourcing infrastructure debt deals in Europe and conducting credit analysis of prospective investments, as well as managing and marketing IFM’s capability in this speciality. David has 18 years experience in banking focused on project finance, infrastructure debt and structured credit. He joined IFM from Barclays, where he was Head of Infrastructure and Structured Project Finance for their Corporate Bank. David began his banking career with RBS, where he focused on structured and public sector finance globally, then moved to HBOS plc. At HBOS, David worked in the origination team of the Infrastructure Finance unit, where he was responsible for sourcing and executing senior debt, mezzanine and equity in the PPP, transportation and energy sectors.

Hannah is responsible for the analysis of prospective infrastructure debt deals for debt investment products and services in North America. She has previously worked at Barclays Corporate as an Assistant Vice-President in the Restructuring Business Support team, where she was responsible for providing deal support and undertaking credit risk analysis. Prior to this, Hannah spent two years in the Barclays Corporate Graduate Scheme.

Lucy is responsible for originating, executing and managing infrastructure debt investments in Europe. Lucy was previously a Manager within the infrastructure finance team of SMBC Europe and prior to that undertook a similar role at West LB in London. During her time in those roles, Lucy was instrumental in a number of high profile transactions including London Gateway, Copenhagen Airport refinancing and London Gatwick Airport refinancing. Lucy started her career in the financial advisory team in PwC and during her time there spent over a year on secondment to the UK Government’s Department of Transport working across a number of key policy areas including Airport Regulation and Crossrail.

Nick supports the activities of the Debt Investments Team in North America, primarily by producing credit assessments on infrastructure debt investments. He was previously with the IFM Investors’ Debt Investments Team in Australia, responsible for on assessing issuers in the cash, fixed income and structured finance markets. Prior to joining IFM Investors, Nick was with ME Bank for five years as Senior Financial Reporting Analyst in the Financial Markets team. His key responsibilities included ensuring regulation and reporting compliance, producing reports and analysis for investors and internal forums, and advising investors and external clients in relation to investment performance. Nick also provided credit analysis to the funds management team on investment grade financial institutions. Nick has experience as a Business Services and Taxation Accountant to complement his knowledge of financial products and markets, fund accounting and securitisation. Nick is currently completing his Masters in Applied Finance.

Rich is responsible for the creation and management of IFM Investors’ debt investments strategies and portfolios, and for the debt investments team globally. He also heads IFM Investors’ North American debt investment business. Based in New York, Rich has more than 20 years of experience in originating, analysing, structuring and arranging debt facilities for large infrastructure projects. Rich’s experience includes fixed and floating rate debt instruments across a broad credit and industry spectrum, and he has a specialty in the US energy sector, which is the primary source of infrastructure debt issuance in North America. Rich joined IFM Investors after 10 years with RBS, where he was Head of Project Finance in North America. He also managed and was responsible for the bank’s US$3 billion portfolio of infrastructure investments. Prior to RBS, Rich spent nine years with Credit Agricole (Credit Lyonnais) as a senior banker structuring, analysing and underwriting project finance debt.

Scott leads the Australian based debt investments team which includes cash, bond and credit strategies. Previously Scott had joint responsibility for managing the Specialised Credit Fund. He previously worked at Western Asset Management, a specialist credit fixed income manager, and its predecessor in Australia, Citigroup Asset Management, where he was Vice President, Fixed Income. Scott’s experience covers analysis of, and investing in, a broad range of credit and traditional fixed income products covering traditional duration based and specialist credit portfolios, annuity matching funds for insurance companies and cash/cash enhanced funds. He has been involved in a diverse range of transactions as a buyer and a seller, including PPP infrastructure, securitisation, structured credit and hybrid deals. Scott’s experience covers Australian and offshore markets. In previous roles he worked for Westpac in corporate banking and financial markets focusing on debt capital markets origination and sales, interest rate risk management, foreign exchange and money markets. This included a period in London.
