IFM Investors today announced the appointment of Joe Tremblay and Dan Kim as Business Development Directors in North America. These appointments further bolster the team’s North American growth and business development efforts, which are led from the IFM Investors’ New York City offices. Both Mr. Tremblay and Mr. Kim will be responsible for developing new business opportunities and managing significant relationships for all asset classes including, infrastructure, debt investments, listed equities and private capital. They will report to Brian Clarke, Global Head of Investor Relations.
“I’m delighted that Joe and Dan will be representing IFM in the North American institutional market,” said Brian Clarke, Global Head of Investor Relations, IFM Investors. “IFM has been fortunate to have many leading institutional investors as clients in this market. Dan and Joe will further enhance our ability to serve these extraordinary investment partners and attract other similarly aligned investors.”
Mr. Tremblay brings nearly 10 years of industry experience to the team. He was previously the Director of Marketing at Talara Capital Management, an organization focusing on private equity in the energy sector. Prior to that, he held positions with Alternative Access Capital and New Stream Capital. Mr. Tremblay will be based in New York in his new role.
Mr. Kim has a unique and yet highly complementary background, having served as an Associate Partner for Aon Hewitt Investment Consulting’s Global Private Equity and Infrastructure Group. He brings nearly 20 years of experience to IFM Investors and is highly regarded as one of the leading institutional investment consultant experts in the real asset space, particularly regarding infrastructure and infrastructure debt. Mr. Kim will be based in Chicago.
These appointments further complement recent additions to the firm’s investor relations team. Earlier this year, the team appointed Brian Clarke as Global Head of Investor Relations from his prior position as Executive Director, Global Investor Relations for North America, which he had held since joining IFM Investors in 2011.
