Now in its second year as a combined publication, IFM’s 2025 Annual Sustainability Report brings together the UK Stewardship Code submission, Climate Change Report, and Sustainable Business Report into one integrated document, offering a clear view of our sustainability approach, actions, and impact.
This year, we continued to evolve our sustainable investing approach, which guides our efforts to maximise long-term, risk-adjusted returns by seeking to build resilient portfolios to invest, protect and grow the long-term retirement savings of the working people that our clients represent, while contributing to broader economic, environmental and social outcomes. Our updated Sustainable Investing Guidelines remain central to this, with seven focus themes guiding our efforts across all asset classes.
The 2025 report reflects a year of growth and transformation, including the addition of real estate following the integration of ISPT, and showcases how we’re embedding sustainability across our operations, not only through our first global sustainability learning program, SustainED, but also by minimising our operational environmental impact, creating positive social outcomes through charitable giving and supplier engagement, and supporting our people’s sustainability learning.
