About Mathew
Mathew joined IFM Investors to build out IFM's Debt Investments presence in Sydney and brings more than 23 years of transaction and investing experience in the Australian and European credit markets. As an Investment Director, Mathew is responsible for originating, deal structuring, credit analysis, due diligence and transaction execution.
His focus is on private credit and direct lending in the Australian and New Zealand market. Targeted investment opportunities include Investment Grade and Sub Investment Grade lending; event driven, buyout, acquisition finance, recapitalisations, growth and expansion capital. Prior to joining IFM, Mathew was an Investment Director at Metrics Credit Partners, focused on direct lending, growth capital, leveraged and acquisition finance.
Mathew’s previous roles include origination, deal structuring, portfolio management and team leadership at Investec Bank, Commonwealth Bank, Deutsche Bank (London), Bayerische Landesbank (London) and Credit Agricole.
