Ming Long has extensive board experience leading listed and unlisted entities through transformation and uncertain economic environments. She has a strong focus on resilience and innovation.

Ming is currently Chair of CSIRO, Australia’s national science agency, and a non-executive director of Telstra and QBE Insurance (Auspac). She also sits on ASIC’s Corporate Governance Consultative Committee and the AICD’s Climate Governance Initiative Council. Ming was previously Chair of AMP Capital Funds Management Limited and the Diversity Council Australia.

Ming holds degrees in Economics and Laws, and an honorary Doctorate of Business, from the University of Sydney, and an MBA from UTS. She is a Fellow of Chartered Accountants Australia & New Zealand and a member of Chief Executive Women. In 2020, she was awarded a Member of the Order of Australia (AM) for service to the financial and real estate sectors, and to diversity and inclusion.

Ming is Chair of the Board People and Remuneration Committee and a member of the IFM Board Audit and Risk Committee.
