One of the common threads through all the lessons we’ve learned over more than 25 years as specialist private credit investor is the importance of people. At the heart of our process, we are fortunate to have a relatively large and highly-skilled team.
We recognise and understand the importance of a very connected team; a team that understands the market in which it operates and what drives that market. Further, we know an inclusive culture that embraces diverse qualities, backgrounds and perspectives can lead to more innovative thinking, better decision-making and more productive business performance.
And it’s not just our people that are important – building trust with the people to whom we lend is a skill itself. And, after more than 25 years of successfully lending, we know we’re pretty good at this.

Hiran Wanigasekera
Hiran is an Executive Director and Co-Head of IFM Investors' Australian Diversified Credit capability. He responsible for joint management of key credit portfolios, credit product strategies and managing the day-to-day running of debt portfolios. Hiran has worked across a wide range of credit sectors and industries including bank lending, corporate credit and structured investments.
