The US economy continues to perform well as we move into the last quarter of 2017, building on momentum from the June quarter as the third estimate of GDP growth was again revised higher, up 0.1pp, to 3.1%yoy saar. This growth remains heavily reliant on the US household sector that contributed 1.9pp to the 2.2%yoy rate of growth in real GDP.
