In this edition, Ryan Weldon of the IFM Investors Debt Investments team in New York discusses the outcomes of the November US Federal Reserve (Fed) meeting, the key points from the press conference and what to watch ahead of the next meeting.

At the November meeting, the Federal Reserve held rates, maintaining the upper band of their policy rate at 5.5% with no dissenting votes. The changes in the statement were balanced with the Fed noting the economic strength through the third quarter and highlighting the stubborn employment and inflation data.
