Championing I&D across IFM

Our Inclusion & Diversity (I&D) strategy aims to makes this happen. We strive to create a workplace where people feel seen, heard, supported and motivated to contribute their best work – as their most authentic selves.

I&D at IFM

We are actively involved in industry-led initiatives and commitments that reflect our I&D strategy. We support a range of not-for-profit organisations and other external forums that strive to make a lasting positive difference.

40:40 Vision: An inaugural signatory to this investor-led initiative founded by HESTA, we’re actively engaging with ASX 200 listed companies to promote women filling 40% of executive level roles.

Our I&D Corporate Memberships

  • CareerTrackers: each year in Australia year we participate in the CareerTrackers internship programs.

  • Prep-for-Prep: in the United States we participate in the Prep-for-Prep internship program.

  • Women in Banking and Finance (WiBF): we’re a corporate member of WiBF, sponsoring development opportunities for our employees.

  • Women in Super (WIS): as a corporate member of WIS we support opportunities to network, learn and contribute to industry initiatives.

  • Diversity Council of Australia (DCA): we are a corporate member of DCA enabling access to research, inspiring events and programs, curated resources and expert advice across all diversity dimensions.

  • Parents at Work: our global partnership with Parents at Work enables all employees and families access to an online platform and all parents have access to three executive coaching sessions (over a 12 month period) any time during parental leave or once back at work.

  • WorkLife Central: IFM employees have access to resources, expertise and support from WorkLife Central to help balance work and family life.

  • Pride in Diversity (PiD): we are a PiD corporate member and strive to create a truly inclusive workplace for employees of diverse sexuality and gender. Through our corporate membership, our employees also have access to webinar events, bite sized videos and additional resources.

  • Headspace: we provide unlimited access to Headspace mindfulness resources to our global workforce and their families.

  • Telus Health: our Employee Assistance Program (EAP) and Lifeworks platforms supports our people and their immediate family with free counselling and other resources when and if they need it.

  • The Pinnacle Foundation: this three-year partnership aims to open more doors to higher education for LGBTIQ+ youth in Australia, helping them to overcome challenges arising from their identity and to reach their full potential.

  • Family Inclusive Workplace Certified: IFM Investors is proudly certified in Australia by Family Friendly Workplaces, a community of progressive organisations united in driving global change by creating family-friendly workplaces.
