IFM Investors appoints Global Head of Product Strategy

New York - Global pension capital manager IFM Investors has welcomed David Cienfuegos as Global Head of Product Strategy. 

The appointment will strengthen IFM's product strategy capability as the organisation continues to grow around the globe and respond to evolving client needs and market dynamics. 

Based in New York, his role will be to help IFM identify opportunities, understand changing needs and translate insights into clear product choices for its clients and the 160 million working people around the world whose retirement savings they manage. 

David Cienfuegos brings more than 25 years of global investment and leadership experience across public and private markets.  

Prior to IFM, he spent 15 years with WTW in a succession of leadership roles for the Investments business, most recently serving as Senior Managing Director and Head of Western Europe and International.  

His appointment follows that of Global Head of Investment Research, Jeff Chee, in March.
