Treating workers with dignity and respect

Our approach aligns with global labour rights frameworks, including the United Nations Global Compact and the International Labour Organisation.

  • We believe workers should be treated with dignity and respect. We are a signatory to the UNPRI’s Statement of Investor Commitment to Support a Just Transition on Climate Change.

  • We support the principles of the Australian Asset Owner Stewardship Code and we actively engage with companies and exercise our proxy voting rights.

  • We prioritise the safe operation of infrastructure assets and the workplace health of their employees. We work closely with our portfolio companies to drive and continuously improve safety performance.

  • We monitor and build on existing processes across our business and investment operations to embed modern slavery risk considerations

  • We recognise the Indigenous Peoples of the countries in which we operate and invest as important stakeholders. The development of our First Nations Strategy is anchored in our respect for Indigenous communities.
