About Brett
Brett is a real estate and capital market specialist with over 30 years’ experience. Prior to joining IFM Investors in 2025, Brett was the Manager of ISPT’s largest core diversified fund, where he led the strategy to modernise the fund through an active approach to portfolio curation, with a focus on portfolio quality, composition, returns and an ambitious multibillion-dollar asset recycling program.
Prior experience includes the role of Managing Director of Real Estate at MA Financial Group (previously Moelis Australia) focused on growing the real estate asset management business which included sourcing appropriate investments and capital together with generating value from the existing asset management platform. Brett was also the Managing Director of Real Estate at AMP Capital, responsible for the performance of $10 billion in real estate across both the Diversified Property Fund and Shopping Centre Fund. In addition, Brett was responsible for the retail operating platform which included investment, development, property management and leasing.
Brett has also had several roles at The GPT Group including Head of Investments, Deputy Chief Investment Officer, Head of Retail, and as Fund Manager of the $5 billion Shopping Centre Fund following a 10-year career at Lendlease.
