About Hong
Hong Ern is responsible for managing IFM Investors’ diversified credit investments in Asia, including sourcing, underwriting and structuring of private credit transactions spanning direct lending, special situations, securitizations and asset-backed lending.
With a career spanning more than 12 years in financial services and credit, Hong Ern has established himself as an Asia credit specialist having sourced and structured deals in Singapore, Vietnam, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Japan and India.
Prior to joining IFM Investors, Hong Ern was the Origination Lead at Ascertis Credit (formerly known as BPEA Credit), where he led end-to-end sourcing, structuring, underwriting and monitoring of deals in Southeast Asia and India. He was also formerly part of the Leverage and Acquisition Finance team in BNP Paribas, and did rotations in Emerging Markets (Vietnam, Indonesia) and Real Estate credit.
