UNSW Health Translation Hub

The University of NSW's Health Translation Hub is a major project within Sydney's Randwick Health & Innovation Precinct, purpose-built to integrate health education, research and training with acute healthcare services. Bringing together UNSW’s leading researchers, educators and students with clinicians, industry partners and public health officials, the hub is designed to accelerate the translation of innovation into improved health outcomes, locally and globally.

Developed by a consortium consisting of IFM Investors, superannuation funds HESTA (through its healthcare property mandate with IFM Investors) and UniSuper, and developer Plenary Group, the facility occupies a prime location at the corner of High and Botany Streets in Randwick. It features dedicated spaces for research and collaboration, clinical schools, education and training rooms, community event areas, and a vibrant UNSW Plaza with 2,500 square metres of publicly accessible green space. Direct links to the Prince of Wales Hospital, Sydney Children’s Hospital, Minderoo Children’s Comprehensive Cancer Centre and UNSW’s Kensington campus allows seamless connection across the precinct.

UNSW occupies two-thirds of the facility, focusing on teaching, research and community engagement.
