Asset priorities

Vienna Airport is located 18 kilometres southeast of the city. Thanks to its geographical position in the centre of Europe, Vienna Airport is one of the most important hubs for the growing number of destinations in Europe. It has a dense network of European destinations and services long haul flights to Africa, North America and Asia.

Vienna Airport is the hub for Austrian Airlines and Eurowings Europe and a base for low-cost carriers including Lauda / Ryanair, Wizz Air and Eurowings.

The Vienna Airport Group also includes airport holdings in Malta and Slovakia.

As one of the largest employers in the Eastern part of Austria, Vienna Airport is well aware of its social responsibility.

Environmental awareness and responsibility have always been integral components of the Vienna Airport corporate strategy. It is unconditionally committed to its ecological, social and economic responsibility. An important concern is to pursue these goals in a balanced way and to actively participate in the sustainable development of both the company and the region.
