Asset priorities
NSW Ports manages the key trade gateways that connect the people and businesses of NSW with the rest of the world. It aims to be a world-class port and logistics manager driving sustainable growth that efficiently caters for the growing trade needs of New South Wales and Australia, now and into the future.
Port Botany is NSW’s primary port for containers and bulk liquids and Australia’s second-largest container port, with over 40% of Sydney household goods imported in containers through Port Botany. Port Kembla is NSW’s largest motor vehicle import hub and has significant grain, coal and steel trade.
NSW Ports also manages the Enfield Intermodal Logistics Centre and Cooks River Intermodal Terminal, which both have direct rail links to Port Botany.

Port Kembla
Port Kembla is the primary gateway supporting NSW’s motor vehicle, mining, agricultural, manufacturing and construction industries.
Enfield Intermodal Logistics Centre
Enfield Intermodal Logistics Centre is an intermodal terminal and warehousing facility, centrally located 15km west of Sydney’s CBD.
Cooks River Intermodal Terminal
The Cooks River Intermodal Terminal is NSW’S largest empty container park and acts as a key off-port facility for handling containers.
