Sydney Airport (SYD) is Australia’s premier airport – a key international gateway into Australia – and the largest Australian airport by passengers. It is an essential part of Australia’s transport network, connecting to over 100 destinations around the world.

Sydney Airport is located eight kilometres from the Sydney CBD, which is one of Australia’s largest cities, a key economic zone and major tourism destination. The airport consists of three runways and three passenger terminals. In 2019 the airport served 44.4 million domestic and international passengers.
