About Ming

Ming Long has over a decade of board experience with significant experience as a Chair, CEO and CFO leading listed and unlisted entities, through challenging and uncertain economic environments, and M&A activities.

Ming is currently a non-executive director of Telstra, QBE Insurance (Auspac), Committee for Economic Development in Australia (CEDA), and Deputy Chair of the CSIRO. She is also on ASIC’s Corporate Governance Consultative Committee and AICD’s Climate Governance Initiative Council. Ming was previously Chair of AMP Capital Funds Management Limited, Diversity Council Australia, and a non-executive director of Chartered Accountants Australia & New Zealand.

Ming has a Bachelor of Economics & Laws from the University of Sydney, and an MBA from the University of Technology Sydney (UTS). She is a Fellow of Chartered Accountants Australia & New Zealand, a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and a member of Chief Executive Women.

Ming is Chair of the Board People and Remuneration Committee and a member of the IFM Board Audit and Risk Committee. In 2020, Ming was awarded a Member of the Order of Australia (AM) for her significant service to the financial and real estate sectors, and to diversity and inclusion.
