Asset priorities
Since 2015 there have been sizeable capital investments to improve the safety and quality of the roadway. Since IFM’s initial investment, over 70% of pavement line miles and 25% of bridges along the roadway have been reconstructed or rehabilitated.
The company has also made investments in improving customer experience and safety, including reconstruction of the travel plazas along the roadway and installation of an intelligent transportation system. ITR also makes commitments to safety, sustainability and the community in which it operates.

Sustainability
ITR aims to operate a world-class toll road in an environmentally responsible and sustainable fashion. It has established a pathway to reduce carbon emissions by 50% by 2030, with a commitment to carbon neutrality by 2050.
